We are moving forward in our materials research and manufacturing capabilities. We are expanding our composites manufacturing and R&D into new areas such as Silicon Battery research, resins, polymers and 3D additive manufacturing. Developing new resins, adhesives and paints by infusing nanofillers into their base material to improve their mechanical, fire retardant, shielding and electrical properties. ANS can manufacture prototypes of various materials to replace current materials if needed. ANS would love the opportunity to work with you to develop your next product.
ANS will continue to manufacture and develop new combinations of nano fillers/fibers/fabrics and nanoparticles to supply our needs and expand if needed to supply others. These fibers/sheets/particles can be used as stand alone or combined with conventional materials to improve the properties of the source materials. SiO nano fibers can be encapsulated and spun with conventional fabrics to create new materials that resist staining, moisture, repel insects and be used as in batteries as high volume electron flow storage collectors due to the increased surface area of nano particles. They are also the perfect electrolyte for charge insulation, protect against fire and heat, many types of UV, X-ray and solar radiation.
The images to the left are of previous projects: upper left is a 4'x 8' carbon composite panel used as a floorboard on a ship, the next is I and T channel carbon beams for lower weight added strength and flexibility, a carbon fiber oil pan, a nose cone or radome replacement for Jimmy Buffets seaplane, 3D printer filter support and a modified helicopter seat made bullet proof.
ANS has many capabilities in materials, materials science, resin modifications and composites manufacturing. We can create flat and/or complex shaped composite materials.
We now have the capability to combine nano fillers and particles into composite and compression molded materials to modify their materials properties. Nano fillers such as Bismuth Oxide, Silica Dioxide, Titanium Oxide and others can improve many different properties of paints, resins, grease, oils and filtration media. Si-Tex fiber sheets were placed between 2 sheets of aluminum and a propane torch was applied. Notice the front sheet melts but does not heat through to the back sheet. Front flame temp greater than 1000 deg F back 72 deg F. No damage to Si-Tex fabric nor back aluminum sheet.
A printed circuit board was subjected to the flame of a propane torch with a 20 grams sheet of Si-Tex fabric laid over it to protect it from the high temperatures.
